Mayor Porter noted for the record, at the last City Council meeting the vote was four to four. Councilman Rigby noted for the record, he requested previously and still no answer as to whether Garson Silvers' development history has been checked or his financial stability background has been analyzed for being capable of performing the development. Motion was made by Councilmember Black to approve the actions of the La Porte Development Corporation Board as presented by Mr. Bottoms. Councilmember Mosteit seconded the motion. Motion carried. Ayes: Mosteit, Clausen, Black, Engelken, and Porter. Nays: Moser, Rigby Abstain: None Absent: Malone and Ebow 8. Council to consider approval or other action for the awarding of Bid #08512 for janitorial services . S. Kelley Purchasing Manager Susan Kelley presented summary and recommendation and answered Councils' questions. Motion was made by Councilmember Moser to approve the award of Bid # 08512 as presented by Ms. Kelley. Councilmember Engelken seconded the motion. Motion carried. Ayes: Mosteit, Clausen, Moser, Rigby, Black, Engelken, and Porter. Nays: None Abstain: None Absent: Malone and Ebow 9. Council to consider changing dates of November and December City Council meetings due to holidays - Mayor Porter Mayor Porter presented summary and recommendation and answered Councils' questions.
