Adcox <br /> <br />Councilmember Moser had questions on Item E. <br /> <br />Motion was made bv Councilmember Clausen to approve the consent aqenda as <br />presented. Councilmember Engelken seconded the motion. Petitions, Remonstrance's, Communications, Citizens and Tax Payers wishing to address <br />Council - (Limited to five minutes) <br /> <br />Phillip Hoot - 927 Seabreeze, La Porte, Texas 77571 - Mr. Hoot informed Council he had <br />some ethics concerns in the following areas: <br /> <br />Town Square Plaza - no traffic study has been done which concerns him with the project. <br /> <br />Concerned with elected and appointed officials who use their positions for getting things <br />done within the city, said that they should be careful in this practice. <br /> <br />7. Mayor Porter closed Regular Meeting and opened Workshop Meeting at 6:10 p.m. <br /> <br />A. City Secretary Martha Gillett discussed the paper documents to be included in the <br />Council packets. <br /> <br />Council directed staff to continue preparing and including items in Council packets <br />as they are currently doing. <br /> <br />B. Director of Planning Tim Tietjens submitted a report to City Council regarding <br />implementation of the Drainage Study. <br /> <br />Mr. Tietjens noted there are twelve projects. Seven (7) will be done in-house and <br />five (5) will be outsourced. <br /> <br />Council directed staff to continue working with Harris County Flood Control and to <br />move forward with the plans for drainage within the city. <br />
