Arca M~lp <br /> <br />Budgeted Item: _YES -X-NO <br /> <br />SUMMARY & RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Development of the Town Plaza project at Five Points requires the City to close the San Jacinto <br />Avenue Right-of-Way between E. Main and E. "A" Streets. <br /> <br />Harris County Public Infrastructure Depmtment maintains the one-way pOltion of the San Jacinto <br />Avenue roadway between E. Main and E. "A" Streets and has agreed to the abandonment of this <br />section of roadway and to remove it from its road log. <br /> <br />Additionally, Staff has solicited and received comments from each of the City's franchised utility <br />companies regarding the proposed closing. AT&T and Comcast have each issued letters of no <br />objection while Centerpoint Energy maintains an existing streetlight and streetlight circuit, for <br />which the City has paid the company to remove from the right-or-way.
