Update City Council on status of Capital Improvements Projects - Staff <br /> <br />City Staff updated City Council on various Capital Improvement Projects. <br /> <br />C. Overview and demonstration of OSSI software - K. Adcox <br /> <br />Chief of Police Ken Adcox and Sergeant Matt Daeumer of the Police Department <br />provided City Council with a brief overview and demonstration of several new <br />features that are now available on the Police Department's Web-page. <br /> <br />16. Close Workshop Meeting and reconvene Regular Meeting <br /> <br />Mayor Beasley closed Workshop Meeting and reconvened Regular Meeting at 8:08 p.m. <br /> <br />17. City Manager Ron Bottoms provided Administrative Reports for the following: <br /> <br />November 9, 2009 - City Council Meeting - 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />November 16, 2009 - La Porte Development Corporation Board Meeting - 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />November 19, 2009 - Harris County Mayor and Council Association Dinner - Monument <br />Inn- 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Thanksgiving Holidays - Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27, 2009 <br /> <br />18. Council Comments: Engelken, Clausen, Rigby, Moser, Black, Leonard, and Beasley. <br /> <br />A. Matters appearing on agenda <br /> <br />B. Inquiry of staff regarding specific factual information or existing policy <br /> <br />Mayor Beasley thanked Melisa Lanclos for sitting in during the Council Meeting <br />and read a resignation letter from Councilmember Georgia Malone from her <br />position on City Council effective immediately. <br /> <br />19.
