Minutes of Regular Meeting and Public Hearing of La Porte City Council on October 11, 2010 4 Mayor Rigby noted the minutes need to be changed to reflect that item I was voted on separately rather than item H. Councilmember Zemanek noted the word forensic audit needs to be removed from the minutes. It was the consensus of Council for these changes to be made to the minutes and noted the City Secretary make the changes. Council had questions on items A, B, D, E, F, G, H, K, Land O. Council voted separately on items B, D On item D, Council requested staff notify the citizens one more time through formal letters and personal visits to the residence. Staff was directed to ensure the citizen's had a visual of the final outcome of the project on their property. In addition, Council requested staff to find out if the City of Deer Park's Drainage Master Plan will have an adverse impact on the City of La Porte. Staff was directed to bring back pricing to do all of the projects underground. Assistant City Attorney Clark Askins read the following ordinance captions: Ordinance 3280 - AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING NEW BUILDING CODES (INTERNATIONAL CODE COUNCIL) BY AMENDING CHAPTER 82 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE BY AMENDING CHAPTER 82, "BUILDINGS AND BUILDING REGULATIONS", ARTICLE II "BUILDING CODES," SECTION 82-31 "ADOPTION" AND SECTIONS 82-32 "RESIDENTIAL CODE AMENDMENTS" AND 82-33 "BUILDING CODE AMENDMENTS"; ARTICLE III "PLUMBING CODE" SECTION 82-66 "ADOPTION" AND SECTION 82-67 "AMENDMENTS"; ARTICLE V "FUEL GAS CODE", SECTION 82-381 "ADOPTION" AND SECTION 82-412 "ADOPTION" AND SECTION 82- 413 "AMENDMENTS"; ARTICLE VII "MECHANICAL CODE', SECTION 82-441 "ADOPTION" AND SECTION 82-442 "AMENDMENTS"; PROVIDING A REPEALING CLAUSE; CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; FINDING COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; PROVIDING THAT ANY PERSON VIOLATING THE TERMS OF THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE DEEMED GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR AND UPON CONVICTION SHALL BE FINED IN A SUM NOT TO EXCEED TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS; PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION OF THE CAPTION HEREOF; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
