Bottoms <br /> <br />City Manager Ron Bottoms discussed Certificate of Obligation for Drainage <br />Projects. <br /> <br />Staff was directed to move forward with this item. <br /> <br />B. Discuss inclusion of statement concerning documented workers in City <br />solicitations - S. Cream <br /> <br />Purchasing Manager Susan Cream discussed inclusion of statement concerning <br />documented workers in City solicitations. <br /> <br />Staff was directed to move forward and look at any other laws that need to be <br />included in the future. <br /> <br />C. Discuss Tax Abatements <br /> <br />Economic DevelopmenUMain Street Coordinator discussed Tax Abatements. <br /> <br />Staff was directed to move forward with tax abatements and consider all levels of <br />abatements for small and large businesses. <br /> <br />10. Close Workshop Meeting and reconvene Regular Meeting <br /> <br />Mayor Beasley closed Workshop Meeting and reconvened Regular Meeting at 8:12 p.m. <br />11. Receive Drainage Report from City Staff - S. Gillett <br /> <br />Public Works Director Steve Gillett provided the monthly Drainage Report. <br /> <br />Mr. Gillett also reported the next Drainage Meeting will be held on February 16, 2010 at <br />6:00 p.m. <br /> <br />12.
