Barr <br /> Assistant City Attorney Clark Askins read the caption of Ordinance 3329, AN ORDINANCE <br /> APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LA PORTE, <br /> TEXAS AND THE CITY OF SHOREACRES, TEXAS TO PROVIDE JAIL SERVICES, MAKING <br /> VARIOUS FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATING TO THE SUBJECT; FINDING COMPLIANCE <br /> WITH THE OPEN MEETINGS LAW; PROVIDING AS EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. <br /> Bid 11017 was awarded to Mr. Electric in the amount of $81,513.24 with a construction contingency <br /> of $4,851.76 for lighting replacement, retrofit and lighting control. <br /> Bid 11018 was awarded to Angel Brothers Enterprises, LTD, for repaving of parking and entrance <br /> road at Little Cedar Bayou Park, Little Cedar Bayou Nature Trail parking and Brookglen Park <br /> parking lots ($237,240), testing services by Terracon ($8,030), and project contingency, for a total <br /> amount not to exceed $274,442. <br /> Councilmember Engelken moved to approve the Consent Agenda pursuant to recommendations by <br /> City Staff.
