Absent: <br />Councilmembers Mosteit and Zemanek. Also present were City Secretary Patrice Fogarty, City <br />Manager Corby Alexander and City Attorney Clark Askins. <br />INVOCATION - The invocation was given by Father Gary Rickles —St. Mary's Catholic Church <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - The pledge of allegiance was led by Mayor Rigby. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS (Limited to five minutes per person.) <br />Phillip Hoot, 927 Seabreeze, addressed Council regarding the proposed budget and the possible <br />percentage of overhead expenses. <br />Larry Haller, 122 S. 17th, declined to comment at the present time. <br />Deb Gallington, 811 Oak Leaf, addressed Council in favor of the city continuing to fund membership <br />with Bay Area Houston Convention and Visitor's Bureau. <br />Joe Bertuglia, 101 E. Main, addressed Council in favor of the city continuing to fund membership <br />with Bay Area Houston Convention and Visitor's Bureau. <br />Donald Thorsen, 1250 S. 13th, addressed Council in favor of the city continuing to fund membership <br />with Bay Area Houston Convention and Visitor's Bureau. <br />Rebecca Powell, 902 S. 8th addressed Council in favor of the city continuing to fund membership <br />with Bay Area Houston Convention and Visitor's Bureau. <br />CONSENT AGENDA (All consent agenda items are considered routine by City Council and will be enacted <br />by one motion.
