Garza <br />City Council continued the public hearing from April 8, 2013, at 6:17 p.m. to receive comments from <br />the public regarding one (1) substandard building located at 500 W. Main St. and consider approval <br />or other action to close the public hearing. <br />Senior Engineer Julian Garza presented a summary and advised the Zoning Board of Adjustment's <br />action allows a permit to be issued for remodeling of the substandard structure at 500 West Main <br />Street with the agreement that the encroaching out -building shall be demolished, and the <br />substandard structure must be brought up to comply with current codes, as long as the cost does <br />not exceed one half of the "before depreciation' replacement value of $143,870. <br />Councilmember Moser moved to close the public hearing at 6:19 p.m. regarding one (1) <br />substandard building located at 500 W. Main St. Councilmember Leonard seconded. Councilmember <br />Leonard seconded.
