COUNCIL COMMENTS regarding matters appearing on the agenda; recognition of community <br />members, city employees, and upcoming events; inquiry of staff regarding specific factual <br />information. <br />Councilmember Earp congratulated Planning and Development Director Tim Tietjens and wished <br />him well in his future endeavors; wished Court Administrator Cathy Haney a Happy Birthday and <br />thanked Finance Director Michael Dolby for preparations of the budget; Councilmember Clausen <br />thanked Planning and Development Director Tim Tietjens for his years of service; thanked Council <br />for the Orange and White Day Proclamation and invited everyone to attend the La Porte <br />Independent School District's 100th anniversary celebration; Councilmember J. Martin thanked <br />Planning and Development Director Tim Tietjens for his years of service and commented he <br />attended the La Porte Health and Safety Fair and it was well attended, and thanked Emergency <br />Management Coordinator Kristin Gauthier and team for their hard work; Councilmembers K. Martin <br />and Leonard thanked Planning and Development Director Tim Tietjens for his years of service and <br />congratulated La Porte Independent School District on its 100th anniversary celebration; <br />Councilmember Kaminski congratulated La Porte Independent School District on its 100th <br />anniversary celebration; commented she will be celebrating her 50th high school reunion; thanked <br />Planning and Development Director Tim Tietjens for his years of service and wished Cathy Haney a <br />Happy Birthday; Councilmember Zemanek thanked Planning and Development Director Tim <br />Tietjens for his years of service; Councilmember Engelken thanked Planning and Development <br />Director Tim Tietjens for his years of service and wished him well in this future endeavors and <br />wished Cathy Haney a Happy Birthday; and Mayor Rigby thanked Planning and Development <br />Director Tim Tietjens for his years of service; wished City Planner Eric Ensey well on his move to <br />Colorado; commented he attended the Bay Area Partnership 40th Anniversary, and it was well <br />attended, with a great program; commented on how nice the Salute to Industry Banquet and Golf <br />Tournament was and thanked Michael Dolby, Finance Director, and Staff for preparing the budget. <br />11. ADJOURN - There being no further business, Councilmember Engelken made a motion to adjourn <br />the meeting at 7:08 p.m. Councilmember Leonard seconded.
