Councilperson Engelken announced the Committee had met and approved funding for identified <br />budget projects, had approved a project with Battleground Saloon for $27,308, and approved <br />renewing a thirty-six month contract with the Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership. <br />c. Receive report on the Drainage and Flooding Committee meeting. [Mayor Pro Tem Martin] <br />Mayor Pro Tern Martin noted the Committee was not able to meet and expects to meet again on <br />January 10. <br />11. ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS <br />• City Council meeting, January 10 <br />• Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, January 20 <br />• City Council meeting, January 24 <br />• Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting, January 27 <br />City Manager Corby Alexander reported staff will be following up with Mr. Hernandez. He said the City <br />Christmas Party would happen Friday at Sylvan Beach Pavilion. Mr. Alexander said he and Matt <br />Hartleib would be serving pancakes in the morning at 9:30 and invited the Council to join the gathering. <br />12. COUNCIL COMMENTS Hear announcements concerning matters appearing on the agenda; <br />items of community interest; and/or inquiries of staff regarding specific factual information or <br />existing policy from the Mayor, Council persons, and City staff, for which no formal action will <br />be discussed or taken. <br />Councilpersons congratulated the individuals recognized this evening; expressed appreciation for staff <br />assistance in getting a fencing permit for a resident this week-, noted Christmas on Main was fun and <br />had a great turnout and also recognized how hard the Parks and Public Works staff worked; thanked <br />Public Works for new sidewalks in Fairmont Park in District 3-1 commended U.S. Marine Private Lauryn <br />LeGrand ar)d"W§hed al'0 a safe and very Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year. <br />F301 "ORWE <br />Li tt.......... <br />rd, Z,,'ity Secretary. <br />00 <br />or 0 <br />'0 <br />v, cou" <br />
