[Jason Weeks, Assistant City Manager] <br /> Mayor Pro Tern Engelken moved to approve the consent agenda; the motion was seconded by Councilperson <br /> Oieda; the motion was adopted, 7-0. <br /> 6. STATUTORY AGENDA <br /> a. Presentation,discussion,and possible action to accept the City of La Porte Fiscal Year Ending September <br /> 30, 2020,Annual Comprehensive Financial Report. [Michael Dolby, Finance Director] <br /> Lupe Garcia, Engagement Audit Partner, offered the report on behalf of the Whitley Penn external audit <br /> team. The City received a clean report/unmodified opinion on the federal single audit. Mayor Pro Tem <br /> Engelken moved to accept the City of La Porte Fiscal Year Ending September 30, 2020, Annual Comprehensive <br /> Financial Report; the motion was seconded by Councilperson Ojeda;the motion was adopted, 7-0. <br /> b. Presentation, discussion, and possible action to provide administrative staff direction on how to proceed <br /> with an agreement with the Association of Bayport Companies for area located within the Bayport <br /> Industrial District for the City of La Porte EMS to provide EMS coverage for the period from October 1, <br /> 2020, through September 30, 2023. [Jason Weeks, Assistant City Manager] <br /> Councilperson Bentley moved to sign the original contract; the motion was seconded by Mayor Pro Tern Engelken; <br /> the motion was not adopted, 2-5, Councilperson Bentley and Mayor Pro Tem Engelken voting in support. <br /> Councilperson McCaulley moved to direct staff to bring a multi-year adjustable agreement as presented in the <br /> agenda packet;the motion was seconded by Mayor Pro Tern Engelken;the motion was adopted 6-1,Councilperson <br /> Bentley voting against. <br /> 7. REPORTS <br /> a. Receive report on the Fiscal Affairs Committee meeting. [Mayor Pro Tem Chuck Engelken] <br /> Mayor Pro Tern Engelken said the Committee had received the purchasing card and investment reports, as well as <br /> the annual audit report. <br /> b. Receive report on the La Porte Development Corporation Board meeting. [CouncilpersonNancy Ojeda] <br /> Councilperson Ojeda reported the Committee met, approved extending the dates for the performance measures <br /> for 101 West Main project, denied a request for additional funding for the same, and set the next meeting for April <br /> 26. <br /> 8.
