Award Bid #23016 -'Telescoping Clarifier Valves Replacement' to 3rd Coast Pump and Equipment, Inc. in the amount of $138,900.00, and provide a construction contingency of $1,100.00. [Ray Mayo, Director of Public Works] Councilperson Engelken moved to approve the consent agenda; the motion was seconded_ by Councilperson Bentley: the motion was adopted, 9-0. 7. REPORTS a. Receive report of the La Porte Development Corporation Board meeting. [Councilperson Engelken] Mayor Pro Tern Engelken announced the Board met, heard from the two applicants for the Economic Development Coordinator position, and received an update on the Revak building. b. Presentation of 2022 La Porte Police Department Racial Profiling Report as required by Article 2.132 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure. [Doug Ditrich, Assistant Chief of Police] Assistant Chief Doug Ditrich provided a brief update from the report. c. Presentation of 1st Quarter FY 23 CIP Report to City Council. [Matt Daeumer, Assistant City Manager] Mr. Daeumer and Ray Mayo, Director of Public Works, answered Council questions. 8. Councilpersons congratulated team members recognized for service this evening; congratulated the Municipal Court for their 1 Vh consecutive traffic award; thanked the Parks Department and Kayla Baez for the success of the Mardi Gras on Main event; congratulated the Chamber on its 1001' anniversary; and recognized that this was Chief DeardorfPs last Council meeting.
