a. Approve the minutes of the February 13, 2023, regular City Council meeting. [Louis R. Rigby, <br />Mayor] <br />b. Award Bid #23014 -'Main Sewer Rehabilitation Re -Bid', to Pipeline Video Inspection dlbla T. <br />Gray Utility AIMS, LLC in the amount of $658,000.00, plus $42,000.00 contingency, and <br />authorize the City Manager to execute a construction contract. [Ray Mayo, Director of Public <br />Works] <br />c. Award Bid #23016 = Polymer Tanks and Mixers' to Environmental Improvements, Inc. in the <br />amount of $47,908.00 and provide a construction contingency of $2,092.00. [Ray Mayo, <br />Director of Public Works] <br />d. Award Bid #23016 -'Telescoping Clarifier Valves Replacement' to 3rd Coast Pump and <br />Equipment, Inc. in the amount of $138,900.00, and provide a construction contingency of <br />$1,100.00. [Ray Mayo, Director of Public Works] <br />Councilperson Engelken moved to approve the consent agenda; the motion was seconded_ by <br />Councilperson Bentley: the motion was adopted, 9-0. <br />7. REPORTS <br />a. Receive report of the La Porte Development Corporation Board meeting. [Councilperson <br />Engelken] <br />Mayor Pro Tern Engelken announced the Board met, heard from the two applicants for the <br />Economic Development Coordinator position, and received an update on the Revak building. <br />b. Presentation of 2022 La Porte Police Department Racial Profiling Report as required by <br />Article 2.132 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure. [Doug Ditrich, Assistant Chief of <br />Police] <br />Assistant Chief Doug Ditrich provided a brief update from the report. <br />c. Presentation of 1st Quarter FY 23 CIP Report to City Council. [Matt Daeumer, Assistant City <br />Manager] <br />Mr. Daeumer and Ray Mayo, Director of Public Works, answered Council questions. <br />8. ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS <br />• Fiscal Affairs Committee meeting, March 13 <br />• Drainage and Flooding Committee meeting, March 13 <br />• City Council meeting, March 13 <br />• Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, March 16 <br />• Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting, March 23 <br />• City Council meeting, March 27 <br />The City Manager said there were no reports. <br />9. COUNCIL COMMENT Hear announcements concerning matters appearing on the agenda; items <br />of community interest; andior inquiries of staff regarding specific factual information or existing <br />policy from the Mayor, Councilpersons, and City staff, for which no formal action will be <br />discussed or taken. <br />Councilpersons congratulated team members recognized for service this evening; congratulated the <br />Municipal Court for their 1 Vh consecutive traffic award; thanked the Parks Department and Kayla Baez <br />for the success of the Mardi Gras on Main event; congratulated the Chamber on its 1001' anniversary; <br />and recognized that this was Chief DeardorfPs last Council meeting. <br />
