Councilperson McCaulley said the Committee approved the La Porte Development Corporation's proposed 2023-24 Fiscal Year budget and set the next meeting for August 28, 2023. 10. COUNCIL COMMENT Hear announcements concerning matters appearing on the agenda; items of community interest;and/or inquiries of staff regarding specific factual information or existing policy from the Mayor, Councilpersons, and City staff, for which no formal action will be discussed or taken. Council congratulated the parade organizers and winners; thanked all City employees working outside in the summer heat elements and advised of the continued City projects, along with a new City Hall. 12. EXECUTIVE SESSION a. Texas Government Code Sec. 551.071(1)(A)-Pending or Contemplated Litigation.The City Council will meet in closed session with the City Attorney and City Manager to discuss claim regarding development of real property located in La Porte,Texas. b.
