<br />Councilperson Martin moved to adopt Ordinance 2023-3955 amending the City's Future Land Use
<br />Map Component of the Comprehensive Plan for an approximately 0.27-acre property located at
<br />the northwest corner of W. B St. and S. 11 th St. and legally described as Lots 17, 18, 19, and 20.
<br />Block 25, Town of La Porte, Harris County, Texas, by changing the land use designation from
<br />"Commercial" to "Low Density Residential"; the motion was seconded by Councilperson McCaulley;
<br />the motion was adopted, 7-2, Councilpersons Williams and Helton voting against.
<br />c. City Council will hold a public hearing to receive comments regarding a recommendation
<br />by the Planning and Zoning Commission to adopt Ordinance 2023-3954 amending the Code
<br />of Ordinances of the City of La Porte, Chapter 106 "Zoning" by granting Zone Change #23-
<br />92000001, a change from General Commercial (GC) to Low -Density Residential (R-1) for a
<br />0.27-acre tract of property located at the northwest corner of West B St. and S. 11 th St. and
<br />legally described as Lots 17, 185 19 and 20, Block 25, Town of La Porte, Harris County, Texas;
<br />followed by discussion, and possible action to adopt Ordinance 2023-3954 amending the
<br />Code of Ordinances of the City of La Porte, Chapter 106 "Zoning" by granting Zone Change
<br />#23-92000001, a change from General Commercial (GC) to Low Density Residential (R-1) for
<br />a 0.27-acre tract of property located at the northwest corner of West B. St. and S. 11 th St.

<br />was adopted, 9-0.
