9. REPORTS <br />a. Present First Quarter CIP Report to City Council. [Matt Daeumer, <br />Assistant City Manager] <br />Assistant City Manager Matt Daeumer provided updates on CIP projects. <br />Councilperson McCaulley said the New City Hall Committee met, noting the <br />Committee discussed interior finishes and technology. Councilperson <br />Martin said the Drainage and Flooding Committee met, received updates, <br />heard from guests from Halff Associates and the Harris County Flood <br />Control District, and set its next meeting for March 11. <br />10. ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS <br />• Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, February 15 <br />• La Porte Development Corporation Board of Directors meeting, February <br />26 <br />• City Council meeting, February 26 <br />11. COUNCIL COMMENT <br />Hear announcements concerning matters appearing on the agenda; items of <br />community interest; and/or inquiries of staff regarding specific factual information <br />or existing policy from the Mayor, Councilperson, and City staff, for which no <br />formal action will be discussed. <br />Councilpersons congratulated the team members recognized earlier in the <br />meeting for their great efforts and attitudes; thanked all involved with the <br />successful Mardi Gras on Main event; and expressed gratitude to all who assisted <br />with Chief Ditrich's funeral. <br />12.
