a. Receive a report of the April 22, 2024, La Porte Development <br />Corporation Board of Directors meeting. [Mayor Pro Tem Engelken] <br />Mayor Pro Tem Engelken said the La Porte Development Corporation met; <br />approved two 60-day comment periods for Bayside Service and for Round <br />Table Pizzarrhe Back Door; approved enhancement grants for Anchored <br />Restorations and Dimensions Comics, Music, & More; approved a Mutual <br />Recission and Release Agreement with Girard Equipment Services; <br />postponed the presentation of the Main Street Master Plan to the next <br />regular meeting; and received a staff report. <br />6. ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS <br />• Planning and Zoning Committee Special meeting, May 2 <br />• Drainage and Flooding Committee meeting, May 13 <br />• City Council meeting, May 13 <br />• La Porte Development Corporation Board of Directors budget and strategic <br />planning meeting, May 29 <br />9. COUNCIL COMMENT <br />Hear announcements concerning matters appearing on the agenda; items of <br />community interest; and/or inquiries of staff regarding specific factual information <br />or existing policy from the Mayor, Councilpersons, and City staff, for which no <br />formal action will be discussed. <br />Councilpersons congratulated those recognized at the beginning of the meeting; <br />encouraged all to vote now that early voting has begun; and reminded everyone <br />that Sylvan Beach Day will be this Saturday. <br />
