The City Council will hold a public hearing to receive comment on the <br />recommendation of the Dangerous Buildings Inspections Board for condemnation <br />of a dangerous/substandard structure located at 10618 North L St.; followed by <br />discussion and possible action to adopt Ordinance 2023-3938 ordering <br />condemnation of dangerous/substandard structure located at 10618 North L St., La <br />Porte, Texas. [Curtis Tarver, Deputy Building Official] <br />Mayor Rigby opened the public hearing at 6.14 p.m. Curtis Tarver gave the report and <br />said the owner of 222 South Ohio had submitted a signed voluntary authorization to <br />demolish earlier today. The owner of 10618 North L asked for an additional 30 days. <br />Councilperson Martin moved to postpone the public hearing until the February 12, 2024, <br />City Council meeting; the motion was seconded by Councilperson Williams; the motion <br />was adopted, 7-0. <br />b.
