[Johnna <br />Matthews, Planning Manager, Planning and Development Department] <br />Mayor Helton opened the public hearing at 711 p.m. Ms. Matthews provided <br />information on the proposal. There were no public comments. Mayor Helton closed <br />the public hearing at 7:16 p.m. <br />c. Ordinance 2025-4042 Future Land Use Plan Amendment FLUP-2024-0003 - <br />The City Council will hold a public hearing to receive comments regarding a <br />recommendation by the Planning and Zoning Commission to adopt <br />Ordinance 2026-4042, amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of La <br />Porte, Chapter 106'Zoning" by granting Future Land Use Plan Amendment <br />FLUP-2024-0003, a request by Jorge Moreno, applicantlowner, for approval <br />of a Future Land Use Plan amendment from General Commercial to Low <br />Density Residential, on a 0.29-acre tract of land located at 1216 W B St., and <br />legally described as Lots 13 & 14 15 & 16, Block 25, La Porte, Harris County, <br />Texas; followed by discussion and possible action to adopt Ordinance 2025- <br />4042 amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of La Porte, Chapter 106 <br />"Zoning" by granting Future Land Use Plan Amendment FLUP-2024-0003, a <br />request by Jorge Moreno, applicant/owner, for approval of a Future Land Use <br />Plan amendment from General Commercial to Low Density Residential, on a <br />0.29-acre tract of land located at 1216 W B St., and legally described as Lots <br />13 & 1415 & 16, Block 25, La Porte, Harris County, Texas.
