the Brookglen right-of-way closures, HCFCD has indicated they are waiting on City <br />Council approval. Mr. Wingate said the City has applied for Harris County Precinct 2 <br />partnership grant funding for Northside Phase III and that a decision may come as soon <br />as Friday. Member Engelken mentioned HB 5338 (Paul), which would establish a Gulf <br />Coast Resiliency District to replace Harris County Flood Control District and Harris County <br />Toll Authority and requested a statement in support be sent. City Manager Alexander said <br />he would provide the Committee with the text, after which the Committee may choose to <br />make a recommendation for the City Council. <br />d. Presentation, discussion, and possible action regarding the status of current <br />drainage projects. [Lorenzo Wingate, Assistant Director of Public Works] <br />Mr. Wingate reviewed the projects on the project list. <br />e. Presentation, discussion, and possible action to provide administrative staff of the <br />City with direction, if necessary, regarding additional drainage concerns. [Lorenzo <br />Wingate, Assistant Director of Public Works] <br />Chair Martin addressed the bar ditch on the east side of S. Broadway, asking who was <br />responsible for the maintenance. Mr. Wingate said it was TXDoT and that the City has <br />been performing the work when TXDoT had not. <br />4. SET NEXT MEETING <br />The next meeting was set for May 8, 2023. <br />5.
