interlocal agreement between the City of La Porte and the City of <br />Pasadena. [Ray Mayo, Director of Public Works] <br />Jim Bielstein of HalffAssociates provided an update, noting the Preliminary <br />Jurisdictional Determination was expected in March and that the USACE <br />permit would likely take about six months after that. He said the project <br />could be completed in spring or summer 2025. <br />C. Current and future plans relating to flooding <br />Presentation, discussion, and possible action regarding the Harris <br />County Flood Control District's (HCFCD) and Harris County Precinct <br />2's current and future plans related to flooding in the City of La Porte. <br />[Ray Mayo, Director of Public Works] <br />Jeremy Ratcliff of the Harris County Flood Control District (HCFCD) <br />discussed the status of several projects and agreed to look into mowing <br />concerns in the Brookglen detention pond area and options for the mowing <br />schedule along local drainage channels. <br />d. Presentation, discussion, and possible action regarding the status of <br />current drainage projects. [Ray Mayo, Director of Public Works] <br />Mr. Mayo indicated that the Bayside Terrace project was 3-4 weeks behind <br />schedule, noting redesign of the outfall and CenterPoint gas main conflicts <br />are being addressed. <br />e. Presentation, discussion, and possible action to provide <br />administrative staff of the City with direction, if necessary, regarding <br />additional drainage concerns. [Ray Mayo, Director of Public Works] <br />There were no new or additional concerns brought forward. <br />4. STAFF REPORTS <br />Mr. Mayo introduced Jameson Appel, the new Assistant Director of Public Works <br />for CIP. <br />5.
