b. 100-Acre-Foot Pond <br />Presentation discussion and possible action regarding the status of <br />the 100-acre-foot detention pond project near the Pasadena <br />Convention Center and Brookglen Subdivision, as established in <br />amended interlocal agreement between the City of La Porte and the <br />City of Pasadena. [Ray Mayo, Director of Public Works] <br />Mr. Mayo said the Citywas on schedule to have 90%-complete construction <br />documents in May, which are required for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers <br />to complete their review. <br />C. HCFCD Project Update <br />Presentation, discussion and possible action regarding Harris County <br />Flood Control District (HCFCD) and Harris County Precinct 2 current <br />and future plans related to Flooding in the City of La Porte. [Ray Mayo, <br />Director of Public Works] <br />Mr. Mayo said the Brookglen north detention basin project has been <br />awarded by the Harris County Flood Control District (HCFCD) to Marcon <br />Construction and he expected construction to begin in the next thirty days. <br />He said the F-212 project at East Main and Utah was at 90% design and <br />waiting on stakeholder comments. On the F-101 Channel, Mr. Mayo said <br />HCFCD was reviewing a draft interlocal agreement. Mr. Mayo said the F- <br />216 Channel Phase I improvements (de -silting and purchase of land for a <br />detention basin) were proceeding. Chair Martin requested the City ask <br />HCFCD for a cleanup project for Little Cedar Bayou behind the Recreation <br />Center. <br />d. Current Drainage Project Update <br />Presentation, discussion, and possible action regarding the status of <br />current drainage projects. [Ray Mayo, Director of Public Works] <br />Mr. Mayo said the Bayside Terrace Project was moving smoothly with the <br />good weather and that staff would be meeting with The Civic Club on <br />concerns in the park area. On the Northside Neighborhood Drainage <br />Improvements, Mr. Mayo said the issues with CenterPoint and the <br />contractor's work along F-216 were continuing. He added that the design of <br />Phase I was at 90% and Phase II was at 60% on the Brookglen Drainage <br />Improvements Project. <br />G. Additional Drainage Concerns <br />Presentation, discussion, and possible action to provide <br />administrative staff of the City with direction, if necessary, regarding <br />additional drainage concerns. [Ray Mayo, Director of Public Works] <br />Member Bentley asked about resident concerns at Glen Meadows and Mr. <br />Mayo said the Department had found trash blocking one of the drains and <br />would review the area regularly.
