Precinct 2 current and future plans related to Flooding in the City of LaPorte. <br />[Ray Mayo, Director of Public Works] <br />Mr. Mayo said funding was already available for Phase I of the F216 project <br />between Sens Road and the railroad (the next agreement that will be negotiated <br />with HCFCD). He said the F-212 project at Utah and Main was being pushed along <br />and funded by the HCFCD, as the City was only involved in a portion. <br />d. Current Drainage Project Update - Presentation, discussion, and possible <br />action regarding the status of current drainage projects. [Ray Mayo, Director <br />of Public Works] <br />Mr. Mayo said the largest current project was at Bayside Terrace, approaching over <br />50% completion and is expected to be done mid -March, if there are no weather <br />delays. <br />Councilperson Bentley arrived at 5:21 p.m. <br />Mr. Mayo said the Northside Neighborhood Drainage Project was nearing 70% <br />completion. <br />e. Additional Drainage Concerns - Presentation, discussion, and possible <br />action to provide administrative staff of the City with direction, if necessary, <br />regarding additional drainage concerns. [Ray Mayo, Director of Public <br />Works] <br />Chair Martin noted that the County ditches along S. Broadway needed mowing <br />down into the center of the ditch. <br />4. SET NEXT MEETING - Without objection Chair Martin set the next meeting for <br />November 11. <br />5. COMMITTEE COMMENT Hear announcements concerning matters appearing on the <br />agenda; items of community interest, and/or inquiries of staff regarding specific factual <br />information or existing policy from the Committee members and City staff, for which <br />no formal action will be discussed. <br />There were no comments. <br />
