La Porte Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services District <br /> Minutes from January 18, 2011 <br /> Meeting held at Fire Administration - 124 South 2 St, La Porte, Texas. <br /> Members present - Dottie Kaminski, Robert, Eldridge, Danny Campise, Paul Hickenbottom, <br /> Johnny Jones, and Tom Dye. <br /> City Employees present: Fire Chief Mike Boaze, Assistant Fire Chief Donald Ladd, Fire Dept <br /> Administrative Assistant Tammy Kannarr <br /> Others present - City of La Porte Attorney Knox Askins <br /> Tammy Kannarr called the meeting to order @ 5:32pm. <br /> Tammy Kannarr administered the oath of office to Dottie Kaminski, Robert Eldridge, Danny <br /> Campise, Paul Hickenbottom, Johnny Jones, and Tom Dye. <br /> Danny Campise was nominated by Dottie Kaminski for chairperson, Johnny Jones seconded it. <br /> All were in favor - passed. <br /> Closed regular meeting @ 5:40pm and opened workshop. <br /> Assistant Chief Donald Ladd explained the 2 year budget and business plan, also the schedule & <br /> processes to bring the Fire Control, Prevention and Emergency Medical Services District to <br /> election. <br /> Discussions were held regarding who the funds would be for, the budget, how the LPFCPEMSD <br /> works and how it would benefit the varying departments and citizens, as well as how to advertise <br /> the LPFCPEMSD. <br /> A motion was made by Chairperson Danny Campise to accept the 2 year budge and business <br /> plan. The motion was seconded by Robert Eldridge. All were in favor - passed. <br /> A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Danny Campise and seconded by Tom Dye.
