La Porte Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services District <br /> Minutes from June 30, 2011 <br /> ,- Meeting held at Fire Admin —124 South 2 St., La Porte, Texas. <br /> Members present — Dottie Kaminski, Robert, Eldridge, Danny Campise, Charlie Sanders, Rick Guzman, and Johnny <br /> Jones <br /> City Employees present: Fire Chief Mike Boaze, Fire Dept Administrative Assistant Tammy Kannarr <br /> Rachel Gomez, Shawnita Watts, Trudy Rayburn <br /> Others present — City of La Porte Attorney Clark Askins, <br /> Meeting was called to order @ 5:30pm by Johnny Jones <br /> Minutes were read, motion to approve minutes by Robert Eldridge, second by Charlie Sanders. Minutes accepted. <br /> Oath of office administered by Tammy Kannarr to: Dottie Kaminski, Robert, Eldridge, Danny Campise, Charlie <br /> Sanders, Rick Guzman, and Johnny Jones <br /> Drawing conducted for terms of office, results are: 2 year terms 9 -1 -2013: Robert Eldridge, Dottie Kaminski, Rick <br /> Guzman, Charlie Sanders. 1 year term 9 -1 -2012: Danny Campise, Johnny Jones, Tom Dye <br /> Johnny Jones nominated for President by Charlie Sanders, seconded by Danny Campise. All in favor, nomination <br /> passed. <br /> Itobert Eldridge nominated for Vice President by Dottie Kaminski, seconded by Charlie Sanders. All in favor, <br /> amination passed. <br /> Tammy Kannarr appointed as secretary by the board. <br /> Motion was made by Charlie Sanders to make Ron Bottoms the General Manager. Seconded by Rick Guzman, all in <br /> favor, motion passed. <br /> Motion by Robert Eldridge was made to request the City of La Porte obtain a Five Thousand Dollar ($5000.00) bond <br /> on each board member. Seconded by Danny Campise. All in favor, motion passed. <br /> Mike Boaze went over the budget <br /> A motion was made by Danny Campise to call for a public hearing on July 28, 2011, to consider (1) the adoption of <br /> alternative budget procedures, and to consider (2) a budget for the fiscal year which begins October 1, 2011. <br /> Seconded by Robert Eldridge, all in favor, motion passed. <br /> A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Dottie Kaminski and seconded by Danny Campise.
