La Porte Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services District <br />Minutes from May 10, 2016 <br />I � Meeting held at Fire Admin — 125 South 3rd St,, La Porte, Texas. <br />Meeting called to order @ 6:05pm by Johnny Jones <br />Members present - - Robert Eldridge, Ron Nowetner, Tom Dye, Johnny Jones <br />Also present- Donald Ladd, Kaltlyn Harus, Mike Boaze, Ray Nolen <br />Minutes from January 5, 2016 were read with a motion to make a correction adding "for ten years" in regards to the <br />, <br />consideration and approval of the 2016 election. Motion made by Tom Dye, second by Ron Nowetner, Minutes <br />corrected and accepted. <br />Considered approval or other action of a resolution declaring the results of the election held May 7, 2016, for a <br />continuation referendum for the purpose of voting for or against the proposition of whether the La Porte Haire <br />Control, Prevention, and Emergency Services District and sales and use tax Should be continued. Motion to approve <br />by Robert Eldridge, second by Ron Nowetner, <br />Discussion on projections for the UPCOrning 2016-2017 budget. Donald Ladd and Ray Nolen discussed the only big <br />ticket item they expected on the upcoming budget to be the purchase of an ambulance. <br />Command vehicle expected to arrive late August early September. <br />A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by 'Tom Dye and seconded by Robert Eldridge.
