The meeting was called to order. <br />Members Present: David E~rady, Lloyd Roper, JacE, <br />Humphrey, rcuede Wheeler, Dennis Dunham <br />Members Absent : John k;i i b 1 er , ~ti chard Hays <br />?. Stan Sherwood reported to committee that Council approved <br />and signed Piviere-Harr, Inc.'s contract for design of <br />eighteen (18) hole golf course. <br />~. StL7n Sherwood reported that approximately :~1,779,?9~.4c:~ <br />has been spent out of the authorized G.O. E~onds for land <br />acquisition, engineering, professional services and <br />administration. Attached is a copy of the Summary <br />Erudget. <br />4. A memo was given to >~ob Herrera on •the advantages of a <br />management company operating La F'orte's Golf Course. It <br />• was discussed by the committee and decided that outside <br />management would be the best alternative. Committee <br />r-ecomrnended that F.uede Wheeler contact f<en James of <br />AmericC-~n Corporation to be present at the next meeting <br />scheduled for December L, 198. <br />5. Committee reviewed MiF;e Martin's evaluation on plans and <br />specs of golf course and agreed that his review would be <br />must beneficial for the golf course. <br />b. Stan Sherwood reported that Mike Martin and Fiiviere--Harr, <br />Inc. are the only two consultants hired at present to <br />wor k. on the design of the gal f course. <br />7. 7h~re being no further business to discuss the meeting <br />adjourned at 7e•35 p.m. <br /> <br />
