~ y • <br /> <br /> <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />Golf Course Advisory Meeting <br />February 18, 1987 <br />Item D is progress of services that have been provided by the <br />City; i.e. working with the design firm on the plans and specs, <br />application for the amended waste discharge permit, technical <br />reviews, and publication of a notice of application in the <br />newspaper to give the community an opportunity to respond to <br />the application. <br />The next item that we provided in-house was to establish <br />project control for construction layout and the construction <br />staking, route layout and the routing, including boundary <br />survey and the lakes. <br />Additional in-housework includes the design and preparation of <br />plans and specifications for the entrance road, the waterline <br />and the sewer line that will serve the maintenance facility and <br />pro shop facility. <br />The City is also providing the rough clearing in-house. <br />• <br />Item 5.was also taken on in-house, providing the survey base <br />line and the data for the design of the effluent transfer <br />system. <br />The expenses associated with these items 1-5 have been absorbed <br />by the operation budgets of the departments involved except for <br />the costs associ-aced with the machinery. <br />The boundary survey and the preparation of the legal <br />description of the pl,~t was completed long ago. <br />Pat O'Mally passed out copies of the schedule and discussed <br />each item from start to completion and demonstrated how the <br />course could be completed this year. <br />The committee discussed getting the community involved by <br />having a contest to name the course. A committee will be <br />set-up to judge. <br />The committee also discussed items for the next meeting which <br />should include how to manage the course for the long and short <br />term, critical points, greens-keeper, and budget. <br />Meeting was adjourned. <br />PASSED AND APPROVED: <br />• <br />THIS THE DAY OF 1987 <br />DAVID BRADY, CHAIRMAN <br />
