. <br /> <br />• 4. Pat O'Mally discussed the budget and monies spent for clearing, <br />grubbing and burning operations. Monday, June 8 is cut-off date for <br />equipment to be returned. $87,000.00 has been spent to date for <br />rental of equipment and service charges for Public Works services, <br />fuels etc. Estimated cost to complete if City does work is <br />$19,000.00. Carter offered to do work for $25,000.00 as of this <br />past Monday. This coming Monday, June 8 Carter will negotiate the <br />$25,000.00 based on what is accomplished between last Monday, June 1 <br />and Monday, June 8. Trying to keep cost down to $1,480,000.00 for <br />total cost of golf course. Pre-bid meeting will be held Monday, <br />June 8 at Council Chambers for the tunnel and effluent line. Bids <br />are due on the 15th of June. Engineering estimated cost for <br />effluent line is approximately $63,000.00 and tunnel $103,000.00. <br />Total budgeted was $220,000.00. The only outstanding cost that was <br />not anticipated was power. Golf cart underpass will be provided <br />with gates on both ends at a later date. <br />5. Pat invited committee to participate in a barbeque for City <br />employees who worked on golf course. <br />6. A video on the golf course was shown on the progress being made. <br />7. Suggestion was made to have a log cabin club house. They are <br />durable, energy efficient, inexpensive and additions can be made <br />every easily. Bob suggested adding this item to the agenda for next <br />• meetings discussion. <br />8. Committee agreed to discuss a golf course naming contest at the next <br />meeting. <br />9.
