Minutes were approved as presented. <br />ITEM NO• ~: UPDATE OF GOLF COURSE: Alex informed the Board that the <br />course was looking real good, he said there were still a <br />few areas that they were going to sod, but that will <br />come later after the irrigation system is in. On the <br />bunkers, the crew has been working real hard at getting <br />them cleaned out and they are coming along fine. <br />The pipes treat were put in under the cart paths have all <br />been stubbed in and now we just need to add the <br />perforated pipe and drains. They will try to have all <br />this finished by the 27th of August, and Alex felt we <br />should still plan to open on this date. <br />Dennis Hlavaty tcld the Board that the tee boxes that <br />looked as if they were dead are now "greening up" and <br />will be allright by the time we open. <br />Next Alex informed the Board concerning the driving <br />range - he said he would like to open the range a week <br />from this Saturday, which would be August 13th. Jack <br />Eumphrey suggested that we try to get a notice in the <br />paper to let the citizens know of the opening of tYie <br />driving range; Alex said he would. <br />• <br />
