The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm by President Jerry <br />Bramlett. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: President Jerry Bramlett, Vice President <br />Rodney Etchberger and Member James Sweeton. <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Secretary Albert Fields. <br />OTHERS PRESENT: General Manager Robert T. Herrera, Assistant <br />City Manager Jeff Litchfield, Director of Public Works Steve <br />Gillett, Assistant Director of Public Works Buddy Jacobs, and <br />Carol Butler. <br />2. The minutes from the regular meeting held March 27, 1995 were <br />read. Motion by James Sweeton, seconded by Rodney Etchberger, <br />to accept the minutes as read. Motion was unanimous. <br />3. The Oath of Office was administered by President Jerry <br />Bramlett to Vice President Rodney Etchberger. <br />4. Motion by James Sweeton, seconded by Rodney Etchberger to <br />retain the current slate of officers. Motion was unanimous. <br />5. Motion by rodney Etchberger, seconded by James Sweeton, to <br />approve payment of "catch-up" through March 31, 1995, to the <br />City of Houston in the amount of $38,870.54. Motion was <br />unanimous. <br />6. General Manager Robert T. Herrera outlined the proposed <br />Operator's Agreement, and the proposed change in term from one <br />to three years. Mr. Herrera also distributed a legal opinion <br />from City Attorney Knox Askins stating that no bid process is <br />required to contract with the City of La Porte. Motion by <br />Rodney Etchberger, seconded by James Sweeton to approve the <br />Operator's Agreement between the LPAWA and the City of LA <br />Porte for a three year term. Motion was unanimous. <br />7. General Manager presented the proposed FY 1995-96 LPAWA <br />Budget. Assistant City Manager Jeff Litchfield explained the <br />debt service fund. Motion by James Sweeton, seconded by <br />Rodney Etchberger to approve the FY 1995-96 LPAWA Budget. <br />Motion was unanimous. <br />8. There being no further business, motion made by James Sweeton, <br />seconded by Rodney Etchberger to adjourn. The motion was <br />unanimous and the meeting adjourned at 7:13 pm. <br />
