Jeff Litchfield reported that the proposed Water Capacity and Sales Agreement <br />between the Gulf Coast Water Authority and the La Porte Area Water Authority <br />was not yet finalized. He explained the issues still outstanding and answered <br />questions from the Board. No action was taken. <br />8. John Joerns reviewed the memo from Steve Gillett regarding the major repairs <br />underway at the Southeast Water Purification Plant. The Authority's share of the <br />repairs is approximately $74,897.60, which will be billed as the job progresses, <br />over a period of approximately seven months. The City of Houston is suing the <br />former operations contractor for the cost of the repairs. Any favorable judgement <br />will be credited back to the Co-Participants. <br />9. There being no further business, motion made by Chester Pool, seconded by Al <br />Fields to adjourn.
