Scott Swanson, Water Conservation Specialist <br /> <br />Reference: Review of proposed amendments to the <br />La Porte Area Water Authority Drought Contingency Plan <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Swanson, <br />Please review the following proposed changes as outlined in our previous e- <br />mail correspondence. <br /> <br />Pending your written approval, recommendation will be submitted to officers <br />of the La Porte Area Water Authority in efforts to amend the current plan and <br />achieve compliance with Title 30, Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 288. <br /> <br />Proposed amendments are as follows; <br /> <br />Amend Item B. SYSTEM CONSTRAINTS with the following; <br /> <br />Execution of all water demand management measures shall be in accordance <br />with the Texas Water Code, Section 11. 039. <br /> <br />All future wholesale water contracts (new, renewed or extension) shall <br />include a provision for all water distributed during a period of water shortage to be <br />divided in accordance with The Texas Water Code, Section 11. 039. <br /> <br />Amend Item D. EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PROGRAM with the <br />following; <br /> <br />2.
