La Porte Development Corporation — 9/25/06 — Page 2 <br />Board requested Michael Dolby bring Board job description to the next meeting. <br />6. Michael Dolby provided update on sales tax revenues. <br />Approximetaly $85,000.00 over original Budget — Revenues are up. <br />7. Pat Muston and Ed Matuszak discussed future projects. <br />Pat Muston noted we could be doing more. We would like to see Beach area enhanced and <br />to take precautions not to lose Bayfront. Could have Marina, Condo's and Restraunts on <br />water front to enhance tourism. <br />Michael Dolby reported an Economic Development Consultant was hired to do a study. A <br />committee was formed and business and landowners were included. Invited private <br />investors to join as well.. <br />The board inquired what the La Porte-Bayshore Chamber of Commerce is doing to develop <br />water front. Michael Dolby will inquire and provide a report at the next meeting. <br />It was noted work is needed with legislative on changing laws so not so restrictive on <br />spending 4b sales tax revenues. <br />The board noted they wanted to review the Bayfront Master Plan. Michael Dolby will bring <br />report to next meeting. <br />8. Administrative Reports. <br />Michael Dolby reported Ms. Feazelle will be providing a report on the City of Seabrook's <br />efforts on economic development at the next meeting. <br />9.
