Assessment of the regional Houston MSA economy - movement in regional <br />Houston economy in the last 5 years, the current situation and future direction of <br />the Houston economy should be included as part of the overall effort. Also, an <br />assessment as to how the changes in the Houston economy are likely to affect <br />the southeast portion of the Gulf Coast and the City of La Porte and its plans <br />should also be undertaken. <br /> <br />6. Identification of Alternative Strategies - The consultant should develop several <br />alternative strategies for achieving the type of economic development that is <br />desired by the City of La Porte.
