Attached is the proposal of economic development services to <br />the city of La Porte from BAHEP, as well as the proposed Agreement. <br /> <br />The fee is $20,000/year payable in two installments: the fIrst within 30 days of effective agreement and the second <br />within 30 days of the semi-annual meeting and fIrst progress report. The term of the Agreement is one year. It <br />includes provisions for termination of convenience by the City and termination for cause by either the City or <br />BAHEP. <br /> <br />We have found BAHEP to be very open, visible and active in providing services that are specifIc to promoting <br />regional economic development services. BAHEP provides information and resources that are necessary for us to <br />make wise economic development decisions, and also the opportunity for the City to develop valuable relationships <br />with corporations and entities that are either interested in doing business in La Porte, or who can help us further our <br />economic development initiatives.
