Call to Order <br /> President Warren called the meeting to order at 5:01 p.m. Members of the La Porte Development <br /> Corporation Board present: Vice President Pizzitola; Board members Engelken, Zemanek, <br /> Woodard, Clausen and Ojeda. Absent: None <br /> Members of City Executive Staff and City Employees Present: <br /> City Manager's Office: Ron Bottoms, Traci Leach and Stacey Osborne <br /> City Secretary's Office: Patrice Fogarty <br /> City Attorney: Clark Askins <br /> Finance Director: Michael Dolby <br /> 2. Consider approval of Minutes of the La Porte Development Corporation Board Meeting held <br /> on March 7, 2011 — P. Fogarty <br /> Board member Engelken moved to approve the minutes as presented. Committee member <br /> Zemanek seconded. MOTION PASSED. <br /> Ayes: President Warren, Vice President Pizzitola, Board members <br /> Zemanek, Clausen Engelken, Ojeda and Woodard <br /> Nays: None <br /> 3. Discuss and review updated Way - finding Signage options and costs associated for the City <br /> of La Porte and provide staff with direction — S. Osborne <br /> Economic Development Coordinator Stacey Osborne provided alternatives on the appearance and <br /> costs of Way - finding Signage. <br /> Board members directed Ms. Osborne to move forward with Option "3," and all agreed it was the <br /> best appearing sign. <br /> Regarding placement of a sign in Location "A," Option "A" was chosen. <br /> Ms. Osborne will inquire if design can be breakaway signs per Texas Department of Transportation <br /> requirements. <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br /> April 4, 2011, La Porte Development Corporation Board Minutes <br />
