<br />AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTING SERVICES <br /> <br />The following is an agreement for consulting services to be provided by Hawes Hill & Associates, LLP <br />("Consultant") to La Porte Redevelopment Authority ("Client"). <br /> <br />Consultant agrees to provide the following services: <br /> <br />· Provide general technical assistance and consultation as needed on matters pertaining to the <br />operations and implementation of project plans and project financing plans of Tax Increment <br />Reinvestment Zone Number One, City of La Porte, and La Porte Redevelopment Authority; <br /> <br />· Review all documents relative to the Client's projects, including but not limited to land plans, <br />public area improvement plans, and engineering plans relative to a determination of eligibility <br />for such programs and incentives; <br /> <br />· Take and prepare minutes of Board meetings and assist in maintenance of Reinvestment Zone <br />and Authority files; <br /> <br />· Assist in the preparation of budgets for inclusion in the City's Annual Budget and financial <br />reports as required; <br /> <br />· Assist Reinvestment Zone and Authority Board of Directors in the implementation of the Project <br />Plan and Reinvestment Zone Financing Plan; <br /> <br />· Assist the client and other consultants in the preparation of Developer Reimbursement <br />Agreements <br /> <br />· Assist City/TIP to develop and construct a property owner database for mapping, taxation, and <br />information purposes; <br /> <br />· Serve as liaison with the City and other interested parties to further mission of the Reinvestment <br />Zone and Authority; <br /> <br />· Represent Client at meetings and public hearings with city and county government officials and <br />representatives of other taxing agencies as may be required; and <br /> <br />· As necessary, represent Client at meetings with the general public regarding Client's projects <br /> <br />Termination <br /> <br />Either party may terminate this agreement by giving a thirty (30) day written notice. If this agreement is <br />terminated, the Consultant shall be paid for all work performed up to the date of termination. <br />
