LPPOA questioned why they were only looking at the
median for the beginning salary of each rank vs. beginning and top out of
each rank.
b) LPPOA brought discussed items they would be agreeable to should an
amicable agreement be reached.
c) LPPOA brought forth their salary survey and a proposal to the City. The
City and LPPOA could not agree on methodology put into place to obtain
figures and could not agree to commit to future years implementation as
proposed by the LPPOA (Cost of increase over 2 year period, vs. one year
since substantially higher impact on City). The LPPOA looked at the median
for the beginning and top out pay for each rank and their proposal was based
on that.
