• <br /> <br /> <br />Joint Public Hearing - 12/1/75 - Continued <br />2 <br />There being no one to speak in opposition, the Mayor <br />Pro-Tem asked if there was anyone to speak for the <br />rezoning: Mr. Walter Roberson, Chairman of the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission was recognized and informed the <br />Commission that the entire Planning and Zoning Commission <br />had voted for the rezoning when the request had been received. <br />The property in question was located on the map. <br />Mr. Jerry Storseth, representing Ms. N. Stinson, property <br />owner, was recognized and stated that the request was for <br />apartment use only and would be glad to answer any questions <br />that any one might have. There were none. <br />The Joint Public Hearing recessed. <br />The Joint Public Hearing reconvened. <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission presented their <br />recommendation that the property be rezoned as follows: <br />Lots 17 thru 32, Block 1121 from residential to "C" <br />Apartment and Multi-family dwellings only. <br />• <br />Lots 17 thru 32, Block 1160 from residential to "C" <br />Apartment and Commercial with limitations for townhouses <br />or apartments with ground level entrances only. A 25-foot <br />set back line for landscaping; and no drive way entrances <br />or parking facilities to the townhouses or apartments from <br />Oregon Street. <br />Motion by Commissioner Love, seconded by Commissioner Cline <br />to accept and approve the recommendation of the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission. A copy of the recommendation is <br />attached and made a part of these minutes.
