COOK TO REZONE LOTS 26 THROUGH <br />LOTS 32, BLOCK 1129, TOWN OF LA PORTE, FROM RESIDENTIAL TO <br />MOBILE HOME PARK - !~Ir. J. E. Cook addressed the Commission <br />concerning rezoning his property for a mobile home park to accom- <br />modate a mobile home for his deaf son. Each member of the <br />Commission voiced his opinion to Mr. Cook. <br />A motion was made by J. C. Hebert to deny the request by Mr. <br />Cook to rezone Lots 26 through Lots 32, Block 1129, Town of <br />La Porte, seconded by Eugene Ybarra, motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />5. F. Jones request. <br />J. C. Hebert made the motion to deny the request by W. F. <br />• Jones to rezone the east one-half of Blocks 832 and 825 <br />and Lots 17 through 29, Block 796, Town of La Porte from <br />Residential to Commercial; seconded W. R. Shedelbower, <br />motion carried. <br />+ + + <br />6. Charles Christensen told the Commission members about what <br />the City plans to do about park development in the City. <br />It was pointed out that the Commission had not received <br />figures on the sewage plant capacity. <br />Again the Commission would like to have information <br />concerning property marked as zoned for mobile homes, north <br />west of La Porte Terrace. We would like to know if it is <br />still zoned for mobile homes and if it is, what can we as <br />the Planning & Zoning Commission do to have it rezoned. <br />+ + + <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
