The Commission reviewed and discussed the proposed subdivision ordinance and related elements of the Comprehensive Plan. City Engineer Bob Speake explained the new sectional plan for the blue notebook containing all pertinent study information concerning the proposed subdivision ordinance. Mr. Speake stated that if anyone was having trouble organizing the book, to please leave it with him and he would have his secretary put each section in order and return at the next meeting. t~fr. Speake then lead a discussion on the general provisions, key-word definitions, purpose, authority, and jurisdiction of the Planning Commission in developing the subdivision ordinance. Several key-words were added to the list of key-word definitions and were shown as corrections notated on the list. Mr. Speake stated that he would research the definitions of these words and insert them accordingly during the next few weeks. He asked members of the Commission to offer ideas and/or comments to the reading materials presented during this study .period. Mr. Speake stated that he schedule in reviewing the members of the Commission reading material in order discussions on this ordin would try to stay with the proposed subdivision ordinance and wanted to try and read the optional to be better prepared for the ante. After further discussion on this subject, Mr. Speake suggested that discussions be continued at the next meeting. 5. There being no further business to come before the Commission, the meeting was duly adjourned by Vice-Chairman Hammack at 8:56 P.M.
