The meeting was called to order by Chairman Doug Latimer at <br />7:00 P.M. <br />Members of the Commission Present: Chairman Doug Latimer, <br />Members Charlie Doug Boyle, Lola Phillips, Janet Graves, <br />Bruce Hammack <br />Members of the Commission Absent: Members Karl Johnston, <br />Bobby Blackwell <br />City Staff Present: Assistant City Attorney John Armstrong, <br />Director of Community Development John Joerns, City Engineer <br />Bob Speake, Director of Parks and Recreation Stan Sherwood, <br />Assistant City Secretary Laura Hall <br />Others Present: Mr. Decker McKim of Decker McKim Realtors, <br />Inc., Mr. Fred Beck of Carlos Smith Engineering, Mr. Eddie <br />Gray of Gray Enterprises, Mrs. Barbara Neal of the Bayshore <br />Sun, and Mrs. Adair Sullivan <br />2. The Commission considered the approval of the minutes of the <br />Public Hearing and Regular Meeting held on April 4, 1985. <br />• Motion was made by Charlie Doug Bovle to approve the minutes <br />as presented. Second by Lola Phillips. The motion carried, <br />5 ayes and 0 nays. <br />Ayes: Latimer, Boyle, Phillips, Graves, Hammack <br />Nays: None <br />3. The Commission considered the approval of the final draft of <br />the Development Ordinance. <br />Director of Community Development John Joerns stated that <br />copies of the proposed Development Ordinance had been sent <br />to several prominent businessmen and citizens in the <br />community for their comments on the proposed Ordinance. He <br />stated that at least five (5) persons had been invited to <br />the meeting of the Commission to discuss this Ordinance.
