Fence -- this definition should include wrought iron fences or <br />acceptable steel mesh fences. <br />5. Loading Berth <br />QZ1~'>I~'S Ci~1 ARTICLE 1: <br />Section 1 - 300 -- The canprehensive plan shows large amounts of public <br />use and greenbelt/park areas which the city may not have funds to <br />purchase. Therefore, the enforcement of the zoning ordinance, as it <br />pertains•to an individual property owner, can only comply with the <br />comprehensive plan to the extent that the city has 'the funds available <br />to purchase such greenbelt or park/public use areas. Further, there are <br />some areas of the comprehensive plan which do not reflect the best use <br />of that property. For example, the ca~rehensive plan shows residential <br />areas located in portions of the city where residential development is <br />not desirable due to the light industrial character of the neighborhood. <br />Therefore the co~rehensive plan should serve only as a guide for the <br />zoning ordinance enforcement. <br />Q1VNErTI'S CST ARTICLE 2 <br />Section 2 - 703 -- This section is difficult to understand and apply. <br />Also it is not applicable to large tracts under single ownership which <br />- have several zoning districts within the property boundary. <br />Section 2 - 800 -- This section should clearly indicate which uses are <br />the most restrictive and which uses are the least restrictive. <br />Q~1VIRrTI'S C[V ARTICLE 4: <br />Section 4 - 101 -- This section should be reworded to state that until <br />such time as the City of La Porte has the funding to purchase street <br />right-of-ways as shown on the thoroughfare plan, then such proposed <br />
