• ~ <br />PLANNING & ZONING MINUTES <br />January 28, 1988 <br />Page 3 <br />There was a motion by Charles Boyle and a second by Jack Gresham to <br />grant the Special Conditional Use Permit for Bruce Mikulin. The vote <br />was 3 Ayes and 3 Nayes. Mr. Mikulin was informed that his request for <br />a Special Conditional Use Permit would be forwarded to City Council for <br />consideration with a split recommendation by Planning and Zoning. <br />Staff is recommending the Special Conditional Use Permit for Gerald R. <br />Shclott be granted. A conversion of this building to a dwelling unit <br />appears to be compatible with the ordinance's requirements as they <br />impact this neighborhood. <br />There was a motion by Charles Boyle and a second by Jack Gresham to <br />approve this Spe~itri COAdeslandl3U Nayesrm The split arecommendation from <br />vote was taken 3 Y <br />Planning & Zoning will now go before City Council. <br />Next, John Joerns, Asst. City Manager came to express Council's <br />appreciation to Planning & Zoning for a job well done. John reported <br />• on a presentation he made to Council regarding the status of the 6 <br />month review and the expiration of the sign moratorium. John indicated <br />that after considering their options Council expressed their desire to <br />pursue an interim set of sign regulations, then have Planning and <br />Zoning continue to develop comprehensive sign regulations. <br />There was a motion by Inge Browder and a second by Lola Phillips to <br />table the zoning text changes. The vote was unanimous. <br />There was.a motion by Charles Boyle and a second by Jack Gresham to <br />adjourn.
