Box 995 <br />La Porte, Texas 77572-0995 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Ramirez, <br /> <br />The City appreciates PPG Industries willingness to provide the <br />necessary road and drainage right-of-way for the extension of the Bay <br />Area Blvd. through the PPG Industries property. <br /> <br />Your letter discusses several issues that involves future planning and <br />zoning decisions which would be appropriate to discuss with the <br />Planning & Zoning Commission prior to a formal application on these <br />items. The La Porte Planning & Zoning Commission has a meeting <br />scheduled for November 17, 1988. The issues addressed in your letter <br />of July 1, 1988 will be placed on the agenda as a discuss ion i tern. <br />Based on information exchanged and discussions at that meeting you may <br />then deem it appropriate to proceed with a formal rezoning <br />applicat ion. The Planning & Zoning Commiss ion could then hold the <br />required Public Hearj.ng and make a recommendation to City Council for <br />the possible rezoning of properties owned by PPG Industries. <br /> <br />I will send you a copy of the agenda prior to the November 17, 1988 <br />meeting and will also call your office to make sure that you or a <br />representative of your firm will be able to attend the Planning & <br />Zoning Commission meeting to discuss the issues.
