Lewis stated he felt like he had done everything the City has requested of him and now he was here to answer any questions and concerns of the Planning & Zoning Commission. Rev. Lewis also wanted to clarify that he had not begun any work on the building as stated in the Bayshore Sun without proper permission. Rev. Lewis stated that as a preacher he felt i t was hi s duty, as wel 1 as church members, to provide a place for the homeless and needy. He stated that there was not a place/home in the immediate area for the homeless and felt like this was a good location and was on the church property. Lewis, who had stated that he wished to speak again to the Commission. Rev. Lewis wanted everyone to understand that the place he was proposing was not anything like the Jordan Industries that most of the citizens were referring to in their concerns against the shelter. 4.
