SECTIONS 3-100 DEFINITIONS <br /> <br />Fence: A man-made structural barrier erected on <br />or around a piece of property or any portion <br />thereof. <br /> <br />Yard. Front: A front yard is a yard extending <br />along the whole of the front lot line between the <br />side lot lines, and being the minimum horizontal <br />distance between the front lot line and the front <br />of the principal building or any projections <br />thereof other than stairs, unenclosed balconies, <br />or unenclosed porches. In the case of the lots <br />directly adjacent to the shoreline of Galveston <br />Bay, the front yard shall be the yard extending <br />along the whole of the lot line directly adjacent <br />to the shoreline of Galveston Bay, and along the <br />horizontal distance between the front lot line and <br />the front of the principal building or any <br />projections thereof, other than steps, unenclosed <br />balconies, or unenclosed porches. <br /> <br />B.
