L.. 6.t> <br /> <br />->- "! 4-B~ <br />0-. &>- <br /> <br />Interoffice Memorandum <br />February 2, 1984 <br /> <br />To: <br /> <br />City of La Porte Planning and Zoning Commission <br /> <br />From: <br /> <br />John Joerns, Director of Community Development <br />John Armstrong, Assistant City Attorney <br /> <br />Subject: <br /> <br />Consideration of Final Plats Submission of Meadowpark <br />Subdivision, Section II, Recommendations for Planning <br />- <br />and Zoning Commission <br /> <br />Please recall that subsequent to review by the City of La Porte <br />Planning and Zoning Commission on December 1, 1983, said planning <br />and Zoning Commission granted preliminary plat approval for Meadowpark <br />Subdivision, Section II, pursuant to request by Mr. Don Grisham, P.E., <br />President of Gulf Southern Engineering, Inc. Said approval for the <br />preliminary plat was indicated to Mr. Grisham by a letter dated January <br />5, 1984. <br /> <br />Please further recall that the preliminary plat approval given to <br />Meadowpark Subdivision, Section II was conditional, based upon condi- <br />tions submitted by Director of Community Develo~~t, John Joerns as <br />stated by him in the December I, 1983 meeting. tr~t>. <br /> <br />As you know, Mr. Grisham has approached the Planning and Zoning <br />commission requesting final plat approval of Meadowpark Subdivision, <br />Section II at the meeting of the Commission this evening. Many of <br />the conditions as stated by Mr. Joerns in the December I, 1983 meeting <br />of the Planning and Zoning Commission have either been met, or are <br />easily met with the addition of interim markings and additional language <br />and corrections to the plat that you have before you this evening. <br />However, Mr. Grisham still has not made ~ satisfactory disposition on <br />the following items: <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />1. Pursuant to recommendation made in John Joerns' memo dated <br />12-1-83, Mr. Grisham has failed to meet with City Staff and <br />with City Legal Counsel to determine a method for insuring <br />the City's future right to the 25 foot easement along the <br />west line of the sUbdivision. By way of clarification, the <br />final plat as submitted by Mr. Grisham indicates that said <br />25 foot easement along the west line of the subdivision is <br />within the boundaries of the subdivision, whereas, statements <br />have been made to the Commission that said 25 foot easement <br />has been donated to Fish Engineering as a condition to <br />acquisition by the Developer of certain properties in the <br />Subdivision~ <br /> <br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />"~<ll J --. <br />'" i '/ "'\ <br />\., i ~ t.JF LA POR1-C <br />File No. 6}.9.tJ l,._ v <br /> <br />-- <br />
