• • <br />DRAFT <br />• <br />ORDINANCE <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE LICENSING AND REGULATION OF BED <br />AND BREAKFAST INNS ETC... <br />Section I - Definitions: <br />Bed & Breakfast Inn: A building, the primary use of which is a <br />single family residence, in which sleeping rooms are available <br />for overnight rental, subject to the following restrictions. <br />1. Bed & Breakfast Inns shall be operated by resident <br />homeowners. <br />2. No more than two {2) rental rooms shall be provided. <br />3. Rooms shall be let by reservation only. <br />4. Bed & Breakfast Inns shall conform to the requirements <br />of Section 5-800 of Zoning Ordinance 1501. <br />Section II - Coordination With Other Governing Ordinances: <br />2-100: No person shall be granted a Bed & Breakfast <br />operating license with out first satisfying the <br />requirements of Zoning Ordinance 1501 and <br />obtaining a Zoning Permit. <br />2-200: For the purposes of Ordinance 1373, a Bed & <br />Breakfast Inn shall be considered a hotel and as <br />such, shall be subject to the Hotel Occupancy Tax <br />levied under the provisions of said ordinance. <br />~~~~~ <br />
